Microsoft Teams notifications

Post HowlOps alerts to Teams through a Power Automate Workflows webhook.

Microsoft Teams is a live, self-service, delivery-only channel on every plan. It uses Power Automate Workflows; retired Office 365 Connector webhook URLs are rejected.

Set it up

  1. In the target Teams channel choose Workflows and the template Post to a channel when a webhook request is received.
  2. Copy the generated logic.azure.com/workflows/... URL into Integrations → Channels → Microsoft Teams.
  3. Save and send a test.

HowlOps posts Adaptive Card incident and recovery messages. The workflow does not grant HowlOps access to read channel content, and the delivery card is not a bidirectional incident-control surface.

Security and troubleshooting

The workflow URL contains a secret. Replace the workflow or regenerate its trigger URL to rotate, update HowlOps, and retest. Confirm the workflow owner remains licensed and the workflow is enabled. See Teams Workflows setup and Microsoft's webhook workflow guidance.
