Gotify notifications

Gotify is a live, self-service, delivery-only channel on every plan. You operate the Gotify server.

Set it up

1. In Gotify choose Apps, create an application, and copy its application token.
2. Enter the public HTTPS server URL and token under Integrations → Channels → Gotify.
3. Save and send a test.

HowlOps posts incident and recovery messages to the application. It does not manage Gotify clients, users, or message retention.

Security and troubleshooting

Give the application only the destination you need. Replace its token in Gotify and HowlOps to rotate it. Private or loopback server addresses are rejected; publish Gotify securely if HowlOps must reach it. Confirm its TLS certificate and application token, then inspect Notification delivery log.
