Change a capability plan
Upgrade, downgrade, or remove Uptime, On-call, or Status pages from one place.
HowlOps manages Uptime, On-call, and Status pages independently. Current prices and inclusions are shown on the pricing page and again before checkout.
Prerequisites
You must be a workspace Owner or Admin to change billing. If checkout requires a new payment method, the plan screen opens the configured billing provider.
Add or upgrade a capability
- Open Settings → Plan.
- Find Uptime, On-call, or Status pages.
- Select the target plan.
- Review the amount due now, the billing interval, and any discount shown by the product.
- Confirm the change.
After checkout succeeds, reload the affected product screen if its limits were already open in another tab. New API requests are evaluated against the updated entitlement.
Schedule a downgrade or removal
- Open Settings → Plan.
- Select a lower plan or remove the paid capability.
- Review the effective date and the resources affected by the lower limits.
- Confirm Schedule downgrade.
The current capability stays active until the billing-period boundary shown in the product. At that point HowlOps applies the target plan and reconciles over-limit resources. Excess resources can be paused, but they are not deleted.
Cancel a scheduled change
Before the effective date, open Settings → Plan and choose Keep current plan on the capability with a pending change. Selecting the current or a higher plan also clears the pending downgrade when the product confirms the change.
For invoices, refunds, taxes, and payment terms, use the links in the billing screen or the relevant legal policy. Those commercial rules are intentionally not duplicated in technical documentation.
